The darvish curtain in Muharram Museum is depicted with the theme of Ashura event and instructive moral stories, in 30 scenes and with 170 icons signed by Muhammad. The purpose of this research is to study these scenes in comparison with written documents. The two basic research questions are as follows: 1- What is the story of the scenes in this curtain? 2- How are the stories written in written documents and how many are related to oral and folk traditions? The research method is descriptive and comparative, and interview, observation, library and internet methods were used to collect information. The results show that eighteen scenes are related to the Ashura event and twelve scenes are related to moral stories such as Jawanmard Kasab, the Holy Prophet next to the Kausar pool, etc. 26 scenes are directly mentioned in documents and books related to religious stories, the event of Ashura, the biographies of the prophets, and the history of Islam. In the case of four scenes, no written documents were found, so it seems that these gatherings were formed based on oral and popular narratives.
