Abstract: (458 Views) |
Like other Muslim governments of their time, the Aq Qoyunlus Turkmen were pursuing political objectives in the way of their interactions and relations with Sadat. Some Aq Qoyunlus rulers tried to adopt some policies such as getting close to prominent Sadat families and establishing kinship ties with them, recruiting and employing Sadat in administrative, judicial and religious positions, giving gifts and fiefs to Sadat, and supporting Sadat scholars and scientists in order to show their devotion and respect towards posterity of the Prophet (PBUH) and strengthen the foundations of their government with such measures. In this research, which was carried out using descriptive-analytical method, it has been tried to investigate the interaction and confrontation of Aq Qoyunlus with Sadat, Sadat's status during the period of Aq Qoyunlus’ rule, as well as to introduce some of their scientific, literary and political figures during the 9th century AH. |
