Conditions of becoming the crown prince during the Umavids and the first era of Abbasids

Many Muslim thinkers believe crown prince should have some special conditions to achieve this position. This essay tries to examine how much Umayyad Caliphate and the first caliphs of Abbasids­­ practically kept their vows to so called conditions and on its way the writer tries to dig up new resources research samples and documents.
A look on political events of this time shows that against all claims about necessity of some merits for achieving crown prince position these conditions and requirments never been respected practically and the main reason for appointment and election the crown princes and caliphs of this era was just to save personal or family benefits.
